Arg!

So...Pittsburgh wins 8-4. Crosby gets 6 points. Pretty good, and I'm thinking, Ya, Malkin has to atleast get a few points. Malkin, zero points doesn't cut it. Not to mention the -2 as well. No Pims. Just crap.
Now, I shouldn't be to hard on the guy. He doesn't get to play with Crosby or anyone good. I just don't get why he doesn't play with Crosby! These two are insane together, they rack up mountains or points when together. Two reasons, that I can think of, that the coach doesn't put them together is because Malkin is a year older and maybe they think he can handle it. Hes new to the country, hes new to the NHL. Why not give him a linemate like Crosby to get him settled and happy with his surroundings. The guy fled Russia, for pete's sake, and you wont put him with the best player in the league?? The other reason, which may make sense, is the coach doesn't want to give other teams a look at what they can do together until playoff time, so they can't come up with a gameplan for it. Makes sense, but still, it hurts my hockey pool. Hurts the Hoser.

Ilya - On the ice, all the time (or so it seems)

Hockey update: I'm in 6th.

Ya, 6th is not so good. But! Considering the long weeks I was in last at the start, 6th doesn't look so bad. I have made some moves (most recent, by trading Stevie Sullivan for Sheldon Souray) and we're looking towards the top. We're looking, but not moving....yet.

Watching the Atl-Tor game tonight, I noticed Ilya Kovalchuk seemed to be on the ice constantly. Alot of powerplay time for my second round pick, which is ok, cause coupled with M. Hossa (Marian, that is) they seem to get alot of points. Well, Hossa does. Ilya is on the ice, so thats something, right? But don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing Ilya, he gets plenty of points. And for you wondering about his on ice time? 30 minutes and 6 seconds. Wow. Thats Chris Pronger time.

Go Hosers!
