Internet Mad?

So I have been hit with threatening messages from the Internet saying its mad cause I haven't blogged in awhile. Why would the Internet get mad at me? I give it so much love, I use it everyday. Why would it hate any of us? Maybe it is just the mad, disgruntled fellow from Kingston trying to stir crap up. Maybe it is just Kingston in general, or the people. I think it is the people, cause they all smoke, and blow it into people's bathroom windows. Stop poisioning us and leave the good people who visit your town alone. We don't like your kind. We like the good internet, the nice internet. Bring that back. Let it go Kingston.

Pfft. Kingston. Pfft.

To Those Leafs Fans

I guess I made a few of my fellow hockey friends angry when I posted how Montreal was doing against the Leafs, even to the point where I was added to some special lists. I watched the last part of the Leafs game tonight against the Devils, and was impressed they held onto the win. Aubin looked pretty good too. Crazy PIM at the end though. Hopefully this will heal some angry feelings from Kinger and Chris and we can go back to being friends.

St. Louis...We Just Never Got Along

There will be a different look in the locker room for Team Hosers this week, as number 1 pick Martin St. Louis was let go by the team.

"Things didn't click. He wasn't a true team player" said GM Stinky Pete, "We want to win, and we knew we wouldn't with Martin in the lineup."

Martin St. Louis leaves the team earning 14 goals, 33 points, and 4GWG. He wont be missed.

St. Louis was unavailable for comment.

Lets Go Habs!

I like what I am seeing tonight. Montreal playing well, Toronto not really doing anything. Its fun.
Montreal up 4-0 after one period, by four different scorers, and with Huet in net and playing well, we can't be beat. Hopefully this get Montreal on track and help us make the playoffs.

That is all. Oh, Montreal just scored again. Woop :) Go Habs Go.

For The Love Of Zherdev...and Sausage Gravy (Part Two)

So as I posted early, me and 9 other great people took a trip to Columbus to take in a game and cause havoc on the place. The trip started in the morning, with me driving one car (and my brother driving it later in the trip), and Marcus driving the other. It was good times in the car, and all the way to Columbus. After finding the hotel, and leaving our stuff and having a few beers, we headed down the road to Nationwide Arena, home of the Columbus BlueJackets, and proud lovers of Rick Nash. I must say, I was taken back by the beauty of the arena, it was pretty fantastic. Once inside, we found our seats and watched the last few minutes of the warmup. The game was pretty good as well, except for the horrible goaltending of Rollison. What a goof. Hopefully he'll turn it around and start winning. Geez.
Anyways, once the game was over, we headed back to the hotel and had a few more drinks before going out for some food. I'm not going to go into detail about the resturant, because it will simply throw my brother into extreme rage.
However, on our way back to the hotel, we found Zherdev, discarded by some fool on the ground. We pick him up, and dusted him off. It was simply a picture of Zherdev's head on a stick. But we took him to the hotel, and drank with him. He's such a trooper. He came with us back to Canada, and is living among us everyday now.

The next day we went out for breakfast, because the hotel breakfast wasn't really up to par. Packaged everything? Come on people. We located a Bob Evans on the ride home, and since we wouldn't see another one for about 5 minutes, we decided to stop and have some food. I ordered some bacon and eggs, french toast and homefries. I tells you, Bob sure knows how to make bacon. Yum it was, Yum indeed. This is where we encounter Sausage Gravy. Not really sure what to make of this, we looked at each other, hoping someone would order it. Finally, stepping up to the plate, was Fil. He decided to order the S.G. and we all looked forward to it. Let me tell you, it look pretty gross. But! I decided to try it, as did Aaron. It actaully didn't taste to bad, and I'm pretty sure Fil was in heaven while eating it.

Other then that, the ride home was uneventful and we got back to london in time to watch Family Guy. All in all, it was a good trip and I look forward to the next hockey game. Hopefully this brings back some good memories for the people that were there.

Cheers To Canadian Beer

My Apologies

It has been to long since I have posted, and left you wondering what happened in Columbus. That will come soon, so for now check out this guy's link. He always has good stuff to read. I have been away from the comp and I believe it hates me now. But I blame it on the chili, that amazing, intense chili, as everytime I thought about it this week, I had to run out and buy some. Since there is no Wendys in Strathroy, it took more time then I maybe would have liked.

For The Love Of Zherdev...and Sausage Gravy (Part One)

Wow, the Columbus trip was pretty fantastic. The hockey game was great, other then the fact that the Blue Jackets won. Nationwide Arena was pretty nice, I was impressed to the max with it. Columbus is in love with Rick Nash though, every trivia question's answer was Rick Nash. It was kinda funny. We assumed first star of the game would be Nash to, but it wasn't. Weird. Since we were going for Edmonton, we all were extra loud, so loud, that the people in front of me and Brandon didn't return for the third period.
In general, it was a great first NHL game.

I'll explain more tomorrow, when I'm feeling better. Cheers.

Craziness At R&R and Sockworld

A few weeks ago, I went to my friend Jason's apartment in Waterloo and we decided to take in a game from the local sports team. Turns out Waterloo didn't one, so we traveled the distance to Kitchener and watched the "Rangers" play. Turns out the almighty London Knights were playing against them, and just as luck would have it, we both had on our Knights jersey. Craziness eh. Those ranger fans sure hate London folk. But we won 6-3, so we laughed.
Now my brother (and Kinger) decided to test their luck and went to a game in Kingston that featured the Knights vs the Frontenacs (read his blog, check it on the links). Kingston fans were so angry at him (and Kinger) that they designed contests that only Kingston fans could win so they could feel good about themselves. Disgusting.

This is the kind of craziness other teams go for when the Knights and their fans come to town. I can't even start to describe the horror stories me and Jay faced, so I won't. But I do believe they are come from being jealous.

Now for the craziness at Sockworld

Anyone that wants to get a free iPod, I suggest you head over to Sockworld (go to my links for the site) to see how he pulled it off. This crazy bugger got an iPod in the mail. As you will read, they have become good friends (and maybe even lovers). I'm sure he wont show me the iPod since I rejected his offer to help him out back in the day to win one (even though I guess Chris didn't need it). Ha!

I'll soon start linking the blogs in my posts, but for now, I'm lazy. Peace.

Day Off

So along comes 10 O'Clock and the bossman calls saying I have the day off. Waah? A day off, on a Thursday? Crazy times we live in. So I decided to get something done, and I blogged. Blogged? Or Posted? Whatever the term you want to use, all I have to say, I got something done today and it shows.

Anyways. I haven't check my fanstaty hockey pool for a few days, and noticed that our stay in Third place was shortlived after the break. Bogus, I say. Should we trade? Probably not, but the loss of Mr. Jason Spezza hurts team moral. It was all done in bettering the team, but maybe not at these costs. We look to have a better weekend to get back in the hunt for first.

Also, Mr. Bertuzzi is up for trade. You want him on your team, you know you do.
