Just so that everyone knows, I have been accepted to Kings University College starting in September. Yay! Big changes in Peterland and hopefully bigger and better things. This is an exciting time for me, so wish me luck! Go Kings!
Who steals hubcaps anymore? Like honestly, who does these things? I noticed it was missing after work and I have to assume I lost the cap the night I went and watched X-Men 3 (which was pretty great). The next day, I come out, and my back right hubcap is missing. I'll find you, missing hubcap, I'll find you!
I don't know if you have seen them, but those new (or old) Jays commercials are classic. Vernon Wells playing hide and seek, starting in his backyard, then running down the road, onto the streets, and ending up in a garbage bin. And Doc Halladay showing his skills by throwing a rock and knocking down a beesnest that three young lads could not hit. These are classic and are why I sometimes watch baseball on Sportsnet.
Or lack of it. The Tempest decided it didn't want to break anymore, as one of its brake lines broke, and I was force to weave in and out of traffic while holding an ice cream cone in one hand and a pack of gum in the other. Mad skills to keep er on the road. Its ok, we'll bounce back. The Tempest can only be stopped temporarly, never permanent!
Last night, Me, David and Danielle went to see the Godsmack concert. We were looking forward to it, and assumed the rest of London was as well, so David and I stood in line at 4:45. Well, to our surprise, there wasn't really a line. There was just a guy. We were second and third (David was second, I was third, but I later moved into second). At around 5:30ish some others had arrived, and by 6:15 there was actually a decent sized lineup. Once the doors opened at 7 and I foolishly threw out my ticket sub after the lady rip it (the guard told me to throw "it" in the garbage, and all I thought I had in my hand was the ticket, but no, I also had an empty water bottle) Once inside, we rushed to the front and stoked out some good standing room at the front of the staged. The first band on, Hinder, was actaully pretty decent, and even to the point where I thought I might purchased their cd. Might. Once they were off the stage, we waited for what seemed like another 2 hours of standing in a line waiting for Godsmack. But it was worth it. Godsmack was intense! And so was the crowd, as we fought for position along the gate. Obviously, it was their goal to crush us in order for them to move in. But I used my amazing skill to freeze time and move Danielle, David and I to safety before we all become part of a giant mullfest.
Colbert Report tonight was pretty good. I enjoyed the Threat Down (other than the part where he ripped hockey). If only I was home at that time every night, I know it would be good watching.
Since we are moving soon, I need to sell some stuff. If you see anything you might be interested in, let me know via email and we'll work something out.
